T-Shirts have voices. The right quote or graphic can speak volumes and entice the observer to react. Clever, funny, witty, or downright rude the right t-shirt can make a statement. Many of us put a lot of effort into picking out the perfect tee. Do the colors match the rest of my outfit? Does this quote express my current mood? Will they love it when I take my jacket off at school? It doesn't matter why you wear it but how you express yourself.
The feel is super important as well. It's got to be soft even 20 washes later. Your graphic/quote needs to stand the test of time. Vinyl is a great choice because of its durability and resistance to fading. A soft shirt with nothing on it, or severely faded is for bedtime or working on the car. You want something to last , especially when you're spending hard-earned money.
The choice really isn't difficult when it comes to a quality shirt. If you want something that lasts, you've got to spend a little more than you're used to. I'm not saying $50 or $60 for a t-shirt is a good bet but I'm pretty sure $10 doesn't get you high quality. Spend your money wisely and buy a tee that you can wear 2 years from now and it still looks great. Trust me, your closet will love you.
